I'm leaving this review as we're currently building a house with Windmill Homes in the Greenspire Sub. in Windsor CO. We signed contract 1/30/2020 and from the very start we were told over and over "our homes take 6 months and we're never late". The lot we chose didn't fit the home we picked so on 2/10/2020 we were moved to another lot. We also lost square footage in our garage just to fit our house choice on that lot. They do not care about you once they have sold to you! We are having problems with our ice/water in the fridge and you have to contact the maker of the appliances. We have GE and they are not any better. Our Neighbors have no AC it is not working and Windmill Homes don't care. Absolutley would NOT recommend buying from Windmill!!! They also leave alot of unfinished work that is needed to be done!!! I have a brand new window I already have to cover with plastic from the cold and leaving it on to stop the heat from coming in!!... read more
The process to get to the house was amazing but from there it was a nightmare! I would never buy a house from them again. They guarantee all this service before signing but when it comes down to it never follow through. Warranty is worthless to get ahold of and not good an helping out. Wouldn’t recommend these houses due to issues we have and not wanting to deal with it. Or just blow it off because they don’t live in the house. Not worth buying a new house from them!

Poor craftsmanship. I have a list for days that need to be fixed. Didn’t know buying a “new” home you would need things fixed. I’m not petty as most, but wow I’m embarrassed when I have company over, and they see all the flaws.
We just moved in to our BRAND NEW home and are so in love with it! We are first time home buyers and decided to build with Windmill based on a couple factors. They had the great location (Milliken), we found the ideal house size for us, the amount of upgrades and customizable features in the house. They sure seem to take their time taking care of the problems on the houses that they have built. We have a huge crack that runs at the top of the siding, they came and only put caulk over it which has also cracked (this was back in April) and we have water running under our driveway which they said they would have the landscaping people look and and they haven't. It feels like they want the warranties to run out before the problems are dealt with so it won't be considered their problem
