I brought my moluccan cockatoo, Mango, to Dr. McMillan yesterday for a check-up and clip...honestly, fearing the worst and hoping the she had her fingers, ears, nose or whatever else he could grab in tact by the time we left. Let me just say, I sat there IN AWE, probably with my jaw dropped, and watched her handle him without a single issue. I'm ever so grateful and thankful to have found a vet who knows what my beautiful Mango is all about! Amazing vet and a fabulous staff!
I can't begin to express the gratitude I have for the people working at Windhover! I came in so emotional and distraught bringing my sweet dove to be seen with what I now know are 2nd degree burns on her little feet and legs. The whole experience has been traumatic for me let alone my bird, but I was seen right away as an emergency and Dr. McMillan as well as the techs and receptionist were overwhelmingly helpful and compassionate. Dr. McMillan is both the smartest AND compassionate veterinarian I've ever encountered!
I took my Gouldian finch to see Dr. McMillan. She is awesome and my finch is perking right up. So excited to find a knowledgable and caring avian vet!
Best vets on the East coast. Dr. Holmes used to care for my bird, Dory, and now my rescued guinea pig Humphrey is a patient of hers. Both Humphrey and I are so excited to be patients of such fantastic, intelligent, and caring people!
They have taken such good care of all of my birds. They are compassionate and very supportive. I wouldn't imagine going anywhere else.
We were grateful clients for over 8 years. Dr. McMillan & Dr. Holmes along with the entire staff took amazing care of our beloved Anna as if she were their own. I will be forever grateful!
