My experience with Schwab recommending Windhaven to provide a low risk investment was a joke (on me). The local branch referred me to a highly intelligent expert on the phone who informed me that his group of advisers were highly trained PhD's, economics professionals. It took these guys over 10 days/multiple communications to answer a question: WHAT DID I EARN FROM WINDHAVEN AND WHAT DID SCHWAB CHARGE IN FEES? Good firm, smart people.
Windhaven invested me in ETFs in China in June. What were they thinking. I put my money there for protection and I have lost so so much money. While I see some of the losses coming back on the market today -- my Windhaven investments are still in the RED. I don't know how to get out but I wish I had never gotten in. They have not taken care of my investments.
