It was our first time there we brought the whole family, which we had to rent 3 rooms one suite and two regular rooms. When we called to book our rooms I was told they would price match from Priceline and beat them by 20% keep in mind I talked to their customer service not the actual resort staff. When we got there they told us they would it match and we would have to pay full price for the rooms. Now the manager chauntel was nice enough to get us free breakfast! We have stayed at the JW numerous times and the waterpark there is awesome but the thing about the Hyatt are the the beautiful oak Trees and the fact the entire resort is covered in shade .whetever you walk you Walking in the shade in Texas heat... The JW has very few trees for shade . So we will end up spending more time at the Hyatt than we will JW We will still go the the JW but not as much ... maybe 3-1ratio in favor of the hyatt
This place screams tradition on the Fourth of July!!! It is a little slice of heaven full of family fun away from our busy lives in Austin. We came to celebrate our daughters 6th birthday and there was no better way to ring in her 6th year then there amazing fireworks show and 4th of July parade. The staff was so friendly. She was sent surprise cupcakes for room service. We couldn't be more happy and will return every year to begin our own family tradition. In a world where everything is rushed, over-commercialized, and chaotic - this place was a breath of fresh air. Super family friendly, relaxing, and tons of fun without the flashing lights, blaring music, and crowds of people everywhere. We enjoyed the nightly s'more roasting, bikes of all sizes to enjoy, a great unique playground, beautiful lazy river and sandcastle building beach, and the evening kid movies on the lawn with popcorn in hand. Can't wait to go back!
This place is so awesome!!! Very kid friendly ! Lots of activitys for the whole family ! This is a must try place.. you will fall in love ! Super staff here !
