I was very disappointed shopping tonight. Multiple in the store not wearing masks or wore them on their chins. Employees wearing masks that didnt cover their noses. Winco needs to enforce the state mandate and make shoppers wear a mask or take their business elsewhere!
Winco won’t enforce masks despite the mandate—not even on their own employees. Protecting their customers is not their priority. This business’ disregard for health, and overall human life, is disturbing. I won’t be shopping there. I will be spreading this news to my mutuals.
I went to Winco the other day to get my wic filled. as I passed the string cheese I saw that it was now on WIC approved so I grabbed one. upon checkout the cashier handed me the WIC receipt that shows what has been used and the string cheese was not on there. when I asked the cashier as to why and I was told it has never been on WIC, instead of checking when I tryed to showed her the WIC app she said I was being confrontational and that she had the book,and called her assistant manager I asked her manager why there was a sig... read more
I so miss shopping here, I was a regular customer for over 20 years. But wincos refusal to enforce the mandatory mask orders in California i will never shop there again.
I think winco owners/managers should know that people are watching and waiting for a positive experience during covid, and aren’t happy about the results.

I loved Winco before the Covid pandemic but I saw at least 15 employees in the store yesterday working, some working right next to their fellow employees, without masks covering their nose and mouth in clear violation of state law and without deference to the health of customers and fellow employees. When I asked one of the younger male employees to pull his mask up he told me he didn't have to do so before 6am. RecommendedWhat happened to requiring owner/employees to wear masks starting July 1? I was there today and less than half had masks on! Very disappointing!
