I went to this hospital with serious complications. After being stuck with needles for five hours, the doctor recommended I stay over night for very important tests in the morning. the nurse from second floor observation came to get me to take me to the second floor.She was extremely rude, rough, unprofessional, and she put me in a wheel chair without putting the pedals down which made me feet drag along the ground. This place is horrible! Got referred from the free clinic to get a ultrasound and a mammogram done. Told me I was too young for the mammogram, even though my referral had it on there to do one and my mother died of breast cancer!! And to top if off, told me they didnt know what the lump was but it wasnt a sist. And to make it even better, got billed for it when I wasnt suppose to be because I got referred from the FREE Clinic!! This place is a joke. I have been to the emergency room twice and both times I was treated by doctors and nurses that were kind, considerate and adept at what they were doing. I felt like I was among family. I was also upstairs overnight once and was amazed at how efficient and knowledgeable the nurses were and the Nurse Practitioner was just awesome. They even called me at home to see how I was doing afterwards. We are fortunate to have War Memorial Hospital. Hugs to all of you for what you do. P.S. The food was yummy too!
RecommendedDr.Mccoy was absolutely amazing! I looked forward to every visit with her! The wait time is expected! She spent enough time with me to answer every question I had and more! I would expect her to do the same with everyone else! Hence why the appointments are longer! If you don’t like straightforward go somewhere else! If you want the truth- see Dr.Mccoy!
