Update to my original review: I originally gave Tom Gould / WIN Home Inspection a very positive review because the process seemed smooth at the time. He was easy to communicate with, professional, and the pricing seemed competitive. Unfortunately, less than a year later, we had to sell the home due to relocation. During that sale, the buyer’s inspector found structural and major electrical issues that had not been identified in our original inspection report. Generally, a very modern and efficient scheduling system, but I was let down by the inspection. My main gripe is that he was on a call on his ear-piece for the first half of the inspection. I know conflicts happen, but the inspection outcome was lacking. He missed a large, mature carpenter ant colony in the crawl space, since he didn’t inspect it thoroughly.
