All state sold my account without my knowledge or consent. They had an incorrect account number on file and I had contacted them countless times via email and phone and have been given the run around since 8/15. My Mother had an Annuity with Wilton (which was transferred from Allstate). Mom died June of '23. My sister & I are beneficiaries. We filed beneficiary paperwork in July. We were given the run around for months & finally received our first check December of '23 (they broke the annuity up into monthly payments. At the time I asked for a statement of the account balance & how long we would receive payments. They REFUSED to give me that information. Terrible company. They bought Allstate, who was good, and now they don't pay as they're supposed to. File a complaint with NYS Dept. of Financial Services! The more of us who file compaints, the better.
My father passed away and this company refuses to pay out the death benefit. They keep giving me the run around saying the paperwork is incorrect. Initially they said there was no beneficiary listed and then months later magically there was. Does anyone have information on a class action lawsuit against Allstate and this Wilton company??!!
THIS COMPANY IS THE WORST! IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD, RUN FOR YOUR LIFE FROM WILTON INSURANCE. MY MOM WAS WITH ALLSTATE THEY SOLD THE POLICY TO THIS COMPANY.
