Cheeseburger rated 6.25 Onion rings were a 7 drink refills were a -2 (no refills on drinks) Service was a 5 Busby burgers were much better!
You go there for amazing ice cream, malts and sodas, by Miami standards the prices are very reasonable. The hamburgers are average but very affordable, Chicago dogs are wonderful and my daughter swears by the grilled chicken salad! Great place for families to have fun together by the water and get a malted that's big enough for three! Ran into that difficult hostess in the past but she was actually nice this time. Sometimes people have bad days....
While they have a "dine-in" area, it is not for ordering drinks and/or ice cream. There IS a big sign that clearly says this at the hostess' station. I've only ever had the ice cream here and it is always delicious. Personal fave is the Mackinac Island fudge! Great service and perfect spot across the road from the water in Ephraim.
It's a must stop for a DC visit! We came in a lunch rush and had a newborn with us.... No stress or fuss .... VERY friendly and accommodating, not to mention great food and an over generous amount of ice cream!
Awesome. Summer tradition. Ice cream and burgers.....can't go wron!
