I bid two houses on Cherry st. for Wilson rental, houses right next to each other. One for 3500 that entailed taking off storms and both painting and glazing windows, and one for 2500 that was ONLY to paint trim. They declined the 3500 bid , saying they planned to replace windows there. I spent 3 days 30 to 40 feet in the air doing the 2500 bid with the best paint Valspar offers to get paid ONLY 1000 for my efforts. Wilson Rent is one of the biggest trash I've ever met in Battle Creek. They took more than $366 from my deposit, of course, damaged showers. When they sent me a message that my refund was $1,100, when you're going to return the house, they don't accept it. They tell you to leave the key so you don't rent with them. They charged me another $200 for cleaning and when I entered, the house was dirty. To finish, they told me in the middle of the month that the owner of the house needed the house. I live at one of their managed properties on Territorial W. Very nice, clean and a well mix of community and very neighborly.
