This review is more for Dr Hanson then the legitimate OBGYN office. He’s absolutely the most terrible and arrogant OBGYN I’ve ever met. I went into labor with my son in May 2020 and he wanted to send me home and once I told him I was staying and continued to dilate he was so unbelievably rude about admitting me. He also sent a friend of mine home two days ago even though she had high blood pressure. I mean very high and she’s 27 weeks pregnant. RecommendedI've been going to Wilson OBGYN for the past 4.5 years. Since living in North Carolina, I haven't had a regular gynecologist because I haven't come across one that I liked or felt comfortable with. In 2015 I decided to make the switch from Goldsboro OBGYN to Wilson OBGYN and I'm so glad I did. It probably saved my life. Doctor Forrest has been my doctor from 2015 to the present and she has been absolutely amazing. Dr. Hanson and his nurses are nothing but wonderful to me. The ladies at the front desk are really helpful. I've called and had issues and they even squeezed me into be seen. Of course I had to wait but I didn't mind. Dr. Hanson really cares about his patients. He is attentive and always answers my questions and concerns. When I'm going through bad anxiety he says not to worry and that we will get through it. As for his nurses Taylor and Nicole they are just so kind and helpful. They are the absolute best.
They honestly have the worst staff I’ve ever witnessed. They’re not helpful by any means, every time I call I’m on hold for at least ten minutes before anyone answers. When I try to call my doctor’s nurse her phone goes straight to voicemail every time and even when I leave a message I don’t get a call back. You can ask them questions and you don’t get an actual answer, just a generic indirect answer. You’ll also sit in the lobby and wait for hours before you’re called back to be seen. You will literally sit here all day!! I’ve sat there for hours and hours multiple times. The receptionists have the WORST attitudes and act like they are the doctors or nurses. I give 3 stars because most of the nurses are good and doctor fiscus. Only reason I haven’t left yet.
Dr. Kalbfell is amazing! For my first pregnancy I was very nervous and had lots of questions but she answered all of them as well as listened to all of my concerns. She made me feel very comfortable and I would truly recommend her to anyone!
I've been here for an hour and a half with a problem that SHOULD have been fixed 6 months ago when I was here. They JUST came in to inform me my doc is on call and just left to deliver a baby but I'm "welcome to wait until she gets back" 145 I arrived for a 215 appointment. 315 they tell me my doctor JUST left to deliver.
Saw Dr. Brezina for years and LOVE him, but needed to switch bc of his retirement. Dr. Fiscus is amazing and so "real!" She makes me feel very comfortable to discuss anything.
