I wanted to take the time and give a huge shout out to the Neurology Department at Wilson Main Tower 3. I have been treated with such kindness and compassion. The care I have received during my time there has been a 10/10. I've had my hand held, been hugged, talked to like a human being till 3am and had my tears dried and a smile be made instead, hugged on the toilet in my times of weakness. The doctors and nurses were kind, attentive, and communicative, and the procedure was smooth, but the delay in surgery start-time and long wait in the waiting room with no communication is unacceptable when a patient is already extremely uncomfortable. It would be more accurate to separate ratings of the surgical team from the general functions - in which case I'd give 5 stars to the team, and 1 star for scheduling and communication.
Had a great experience with helpful, kind, and knowledgeable staff. Everyone worked well together and made a rough day in the ER better and go more smoothly.
I went to Wilson Emergency and Trauma after sustaining a head injury on February 21, 2025. The care I received from intake to when I was discharged was excellent. The staff was professional, kind and attentive. I arrived around noon and was released by 2:00 that same day. Well done and much gratitude!
