Just the facts! On July2nd the vision in my left eye was 20/100 and my right eye was 20/200. I had cataracs and was legally blind. Dr. Todd performed surgery in each eye one week apart. Each surgery was a total success and I now have 20/20 vision in both eyes. I was totally impressed with her professionalism and ability as an eye surgeon. I was also very impressed with the professionalism of her entire staff. I have recommended her to several people and I hold her in the highest regard.
Extremely unprofessional! Dr. Todd and her assistant ignored me as she hacked on my eyelid. They bantered back and forth as if I was not there. She did not even make eye contact with me. I felt as if I was an afterthought, like, well I will get this one out of the way real quick since I am already in here. It was like she was in a race with the clock. In and out! In 2 weeks I turn 54 and I sit writing this review with the best vision of my life!!! I was always extremely near sighted, even as a young child. In my 20’s I was diagnosed with keratoconus which made it impossible to see well without specialty contacts. Recently I could no longer tolerate the contacts. Dr. Todd told me I would probably still need a small correction after surgery, which I was totally ok with, but here I sit, needing no correction at all! Dr. Todd and her staff changed my Life!!
Very Caring and Professional!
Dr. Todd is a terrific surgeon and person. She listened completely to all my concerns. The first visit, I was asked questions regarding my whole self and family history. She genuinely cares!. She reassured me that she would do everything in her power to correct my vision and she is and has done exactly that. During cataract surgery, she inserted multifocal lenses that allow me to read even the tiniest writing without any assistance. Distant vision better than many many years. GREAT!
I can't say enough about the high quality of care I received at Florida Eye Institute. Dr. Todd explained my cataract problem and correction options very clearly, and also what I could expect from the procedure and recovery. I had worn glasses for 64 years and I could see nothing without them. I'm now glasses-free and easily passed the motor vehicle eye exam for my license. I had the Tecnis Symfony Toric lenses implanted and my vision is great for all distances. Very pleased with the outcome.
Dr Todd did cataract surgery on me seven years ago. Was amazed at how easy the procedure was and what good results I have had since the surgery. She is a very caring physician, and personally followed up with me every step through out both procedures. I would highly recommend her as she is an expert in her field..
My sister recommended Dr Todd to me and I have been going to her ever since. She is very thorough and explains things very well. She really cares about me as a patient and even though I no longer live in the area I will come to her as my physician as I know she is very good at what she does and I am getting the best care.
I have been a patient of Dr. Todd's for many years. I am so thankful for her as she has followed my care being aware that Glaucoma runs in our family. My routine visit showed I needed cataract surgery and Dr Todd explained all the lenses available. I chose the SYMPHONY Lens so i could see distance and close up. The procedure was explained to me each time and I am so happy with my results, NO More Glasses!! Thank you to Dr Todd and her staff for all the care you gave me. I could not be happier!!
