About Us: Wilson County Fair, Inc., founded in 1933, is a private, not-for-profit organization committed to serving the citizens of Wilson County and the surrounding areas. The American Legion Post 13 elects a twelve person Board of Directors to run the activities of the organization and to maintain and improve the fairground and its facilities while serving the citizens of Wilson County. Rain, but good BBQ :) Was a good thing to take kids to. Nothing much for adults except listening to the band when they started. The lead singer female has an excellent voice. Don't be afraid to be louder though. Also adding some harmonies in some of the songs that are usually duets would have been nice. Overall nice event.
The buildings are so clean and spacious. I enjoyed vending at Flowers By Velma Wedding expo 2017 at the Wilson Fairgrounds.

my nephew enjoyed and the best place to eat is the Wilson optimist club hot dog stand
I really enjoy going to the fair every year. I never ride any of the rides, but I love looking at the exhibits and the animal show's. I really enjoy going out there and seeing people that I wouldn't normally see. The only thing that I miss is that the last several years, you don't see a lot of the down home arts and crafts or baked goods for sale like you used to. Growing up, I remember that the fair was much bigger with churches selling stuff and fire departments selling food. It seems to be more commercialized here lately.... read more

I grew up with wcf...... <3 went every year.and anyone don't like our fair feel free to not attend.....
