I lived here for 5 years and had a wonderful experience. The place was always very clean and well-maintained, with a nice and clean pool and grilling area. The location is extremely convenient, less than a 5-minute walk to the engineering buildings and the gym, and within walking distance of everything I needed. Service requests were always handled quickly and efficiently. Rhett and Cassie were amazing, they were genuinely very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place!
Giving only one star because 0 stars is not an option. I have been treated with discrimination for all the time I had been living there.
I looked at a lot of places in Cola -- this is a winner. Highly recommend. Lived here 3yrs in a balcony unit (worth it -- great extra space!). Great location -- walkable to UofSC and downtown. On-site management was always friendly, easy to get ahold of, and helpful. And the building has a hardworking maintenance guy who is quick to address any issues that arise. Finally, amenities are great -- hard to beat grilling out by the pool or sunbathing in a semi-private nook!
Management here is dismissive and rude. The building had a roach infestation on multiple floors that they refused to address. Broken glass on the grounds, poor security, and an ever-present oder of garbage in the lobby were a few other drawbacks.
Stayed here for 3 years. I’ve lived in many places in Columbia and without a doubt I can say the management has a level of quality better than most. Maintenance is reliable and management is responsive. The apartment itself is okay, as it’s location and parking is pretty good. I’ve had problems with my friends and guest parking at other places but not Wilshire. It’s easy and fast to park or leave.
