When people say the VA is horrible, this place denotes just that. I have belonged to the VA in PA and FL and had good experiences. This place lacks urgency, professionalism, and effective communication. Getting any info is like extracting teeth, they give you the run around and you will never receive prompt or correct answers. Unlike any other VA I've been to, they have a single person working THREE DAYS A WEEK for enrollment. They're only there from the hours of 1000 to 1400. They also take a minimum thirty minute lunch break from "1230-1300" that cuts into either side of that supposed time allotment. That's pitiful
Dr. Deever is a slimy physiatrist, tried diagnosing me and sent meds to me in the mail without ever talking to me about it. Then made me feel crazy by saying it was in the notes. It was later confirmed by someone else that was there that it was in fact never talked about, never agreed apon, and that he altered notes to cover his butt. Idk if this is a malpractice suit or not but I would avoid him. To top it off he stumbled into a wall and almost fell like he was intoxicated.
Go there for orthopedic care along with X-rays and MRIs. Always had an excellent appointment.
