Not happy at all with their services. We were charged for things we were told multiple times that we wouldn’t be charged for or weren’t even mentioned in 2 phone calls or at drop off. The expense wasn’t the issue, but the lack of communication is a big concern. Our dog came home with swollen, red, and almost foaming looking lip. His food container (which they said the didn’t have) had blood all over it when we got it back. RecommendedLove the staff and excellent care at Wimington Island Hospital. They have always taken such great care of my fur babies and even send a personalized card signed by everyone when I have a passing. They treat all my animals, and they show them the same care as my pediatrician does my daughter. My dog Rhett just got diagnosed with Melanoma, an aggressive cancer that is quite rare in dogs, especially at age 4. They are really great with all our cats. They have been very compassionate when we had to say goodbye to two as well.
I want to express my most sincere gratitude to the team at Wilmington Island Animal Hospital. I have had pets my entire life and have had experiences with many veterinarians but I have never experienced the immense care and dedication to animals that this team provided to my family over this past year as we said goodbye to our most beloved Sheldon and Gus. We will forever be grateful for the compassion that you showed and we will be customers for the life of our remaining pets. �
We've been using the doggie daycare service for about 2 weeks now and my oversized, energetic puppy comes home all exhausted and worn out. We're at work most of the day so it's great that he is treated so well and gets to play and run. Would recommend to anyone looking for daycare, and it's affordable.
I don't know how their veterinary care is but their boarding and daycare is torturous to listen to, when the dogs are let outdoors there is apparently no supervision as they bark, yelp and carry on incessantly. They sound miserable and I can hear them inside the house with all doors and windows closed.
