History Established in 1970. Wilmington Health was established by two physicians dedicated to providing the best possible care, at an affordable price, for patients in our area. Almost 50 years later, we have grown to over 170 providers with the exact same principals as our founding physicians.

On 9/10/24, I saw Dr. Ardeljan for nerve tests, and received an order for blood work, completed with LABCORP. Since then, I have left multiple messages (4, now 5) asking that someone contact me about the results of the testing and the path forward. I did not receive a return call until 10/17 after the 4th message when I spoke with (person) who said they had not received my results. I initially had no intention of composing this review. I had intended to transition to a new healthcare provider without writing this but upon receiving a correspondence from Wilmington Health indicating their inability to continue providing services to me, here i am. This termination of services can be likened to a "divorce," despite my clear separation from this medical institution. Some of the staff for the Jacksonville office location sends the incorrect times/day for the appointment reminders for texts/voice mail messages. Twice this has happened and then they chart that I am a no show and want to bill me for the next time I try to make an appointment. And it’s very hard to get a hold of someone to help this situation and they just keep transferring me to someone else’s voicemail and no one calls back not even the office manager director, but they will send you letters in the mail of no show appoint... read more
These people are uncaring, unresponsive, and simply should not be allowed to practice medicine. It has been over a week since a request for refill was made and the no one on their staff had done anything. Maybe health care professionals in other locations actually care but not this place. Honestly, they are unprofessional and unresponsive. They do not care.
