Dr. Azizi diagnosed my thyroid cancer - which had already moved to my lymph nodes - at my first visit, despite being told by my PMP and multiple radiologists that my nodules were "nothing to worry about". I have had successful surgery and treatment and continue to receive excellent care from Dr. Azizi and all his staff, from PAs, to nurses, the phlebotomist and office staff.
I have been with Dr. Azizi for 15 years now. I can't imagine a better practice -- he is certainly the best endocrinologist in Wilmington (and probably the country, frankly). I have a lot of respect for practitioners who conduct cutting-edge primary research. He is not only changing the field of endocrinology, though -- his practice is guided by care and concern for the patient as an individual. Dr azzi is very smart! He knows about the thyroid ! He found my thyroid cancer and helped me get on a path to recovery. I am a new patient to Dr Azizi but have already seen him I think 3 times and each experience has been excellent. Starting from scheduling my appointment, the reception is so nice and friendly it was a breeze. Once I arrived to the office the wait time each time was was under 10 min and it was probably even less, there was almost no wait time at all.
