If I could give zero stars, I would. I brought my livery vehicle to Wilmette Truck & Sales for a safety inspection — something I’ve done many times at other legitimate inspection facilities with zero problems. This place failed the vehicle ONLY because of window tints, even though: Livery vehicles ARE legally allowed to have tints The Illinois inspection checklist does NOT list tint as a failure item The same vehicle has passed inspections elsewhere with the exact same tint They still took $40 and failed me for a bogus re... read more
