I went in to have a root canal. I was having pain long after the procedure. I went to a new dentist later and they left plastic 2 plastic shards down along the roots of the tooth. The new dentist pulled them out and the pain went away. I believe they were left in intentionally by Smile Design... they were trying to get me to buy expensive bridge work.
I was VERY happy with my visits to Smile Design Dental Center. I was a little reluctant since I saw a few bad reviews, but in the last year, I've had 6 visits and I was very happy with all of them. Or as happy as one could be for someone drilling holes in their mouth and asking for money for the "service". I went a couple of times and it was fine, but the last time I went was horrible! They did a fluoride treatment on me, that I would NEVER get, without asking. Plus my insurance did not pay for it so I had to out of pocket. Then Dr. Devlin told me I needed a root canal. I have never had issues with my teeth so I got a second opinion on this. My new dentist said that it is absolutely crazy to give me a root canal since all I had was a tiny cavity, which he filled. Beware of the scam! Went to the office for a first time client special of $59 for a teeth cleaning, since I did not have dental insurance for a few months. The people on the phone were so friendly and helpful and explained that the $59 covers x-rays, cleaning, and an exam. After being in the office for 2 hours not only did I not receive a teeth cleaning, they tried to over charge me!
