My mother stayed at Willow Breeze Hospice House for a week before her passing. The facility is beautiful both inside and out. The staff were very kind, compasionate and accomodating. There is a fridge in each room and a small snack area for guests as well as two guest rooms for people to stay the night if needed. The kitchen is huge and fully stocked with all utensils you would need to make a meal or reheat leftovers.
The first 2 days were absolutely amazing the staff friendly, caring and spot on. Then the 3rd night was a nightmare. The 2 nurses and aid working were extremely rude to my mother as well as another patient. They were late on her meds repeatedly and very confrontational. They cared more about sitting at the desk gossiping than they did the patients Very sad and such a let down. Taking my Mother out of here tomorrow.
My grandma recently was in the hospice house and this place is fantastic. The facility itself is very clean and well maintained. There is 24/7 visiting hours to see your loved ones whenever you’d like. The staff here is amazing. They are well educated, caring, and very welcoming. I have no doubt that my grandmother had the very best last days here. I would highly recommend this facility!
Nursing staff was very courteous. The building was modern, and kept very neat and tidy. The person I was visiting kept talking about how well the nurses treated him. I had a preconceived notion of what a hospice place looked like, and it was not a good one. I am very happy to say that this place did not at all fulfill those. If I had to recommend a hospice house to anyone, it would be this one.
