The community of Willowbend is one of our favorites in Denton. The staff is always available to speak to and we have a lot of fun hanging out with the residents.
Willow Bend Assisted Living is a wonderful community that truly feels like home. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warmth, kindness, and professionalism. My wife and I moved into Willowbend Assisted Living on June 23rd and our first impression was "Looks Great, Smells Great, Clean, Not Crowded, Lots of Working Staff" Not only was my first impression spot on but there was much more to come. So far, every stall member has been genuinely kind, pleasant, helpful, and very professional. They all seemed to enjoy their job. We had such a great experience moving my mom into Willow Bend. Lisa worked with us to make sure we were able to make an informed decision. Nurse Amy made sure that all of my mom’s meds were in order and that all of her needs would be met. Juan gave her a tour through the facility and Montashia introduced her to a table full of friends for lunch. Connor was so helpful in making sure her apartment was in order and My mom felt welcomed and right at home. Thank you to all the staff for welcoming her!
I was looking at the facility until, in my research, I saw in the news that a resident was actually KIDNAPPED from this facility. I can’t even imagine how this could happen unless the staff was paid to allow such a breach of trust. I don’t believe I’d ever feel safe leaving a family member here after hearing that. How does this happen and how is anyone to feel safe?! My heart goes out to the family and their loved one. I’ll be looking else where.
