I called for out patient care for my mental health after being hospitalized, was told I would get a call back that day, but they made sure to let me know they had 3 business days to call back. I’ve tried reaching out 3 times now, it says their office is open until 4:30. I call at 3:30 and it says to call back during normal business hours. And they wonder why it’s 22 a day. Extremely disappointing considering how much veterans give to this country.
Dr Mathews told me “there are people with cancer” while I was in crisis. I felt like a problem, a burden and generally guilty about feeling how I was feeling. She made me not want to live even more.Also when I first moved here the receptionist was rude. I asked where I would update my banking information since I just moved there for my direct deposit from the government and her reply was ‘this is not a bank’. Really.. she’s gone though thank goodness. I hated going in when she was there.
You're better off catching a flight to Tijuana and being seen by a backdoor DR. (you'll probably get actual help there compared to here) The staff are very pleasant but the doctors don't see you as a human being and have zero regard for your health or your opinion. Steer clear of this place.
