He can make it run long enough for him to get away and make you think it works, I used my mower for 30 minutes the next day and it died and won't start again. Don't go to this guy, I spent $160.00 and my mower won't work now....I asked him to service it and he didn't even sharpen the blades, but charged me 160 and TOOK a mower from my back yard and said he'd know some off the price!!! They do the work most of us are too lazy to do. If you don't want to get your hands dirty then you should expect to pay to have it done. Don't be lazy!
I took my lawnmower to Willie's Neighborhood Lawnmower last week (June, 2011). The mower would start right up but would die after just a couple of seconds. The repair guy had to take one screw out to remove the air filter. Then he had to remove two bolts to detach the carburetor. He emptied the gas (which was nearly full) and blew the carburetor out with compressed air. He reassembled the carburetor and air filter and put about a fifth of a tank of gas back in the mower (not a huge deal but the price of gas isn't cheap). The... read more
