This man is a slumlord. Do not rent from this man. He is a major liar and will not fix anything. All this man wants is his rent money. Anything else is up to you to fix on your dime. So please do not rent from this man.
Well it started out good, but everything he promised he did not come through. He hasn’t fixed any of our issues except for the water running cold.
Lived in 2 different apartments here. Number 1, if anything breaks, it won’t be fixed until the landlord is tired of hearing from you or he will show up to your apartment while you are at work, let himself in, completely remove all of your personal belongings around and saw a hole in your coat closet to get to the furnace that he will blame you for breaking (it went out because the circuit board fried). He lies told me for 1 apartment the deposit be 200 without new carpet and 400 with new which is totally fine then said well nobody wants to pay the 1000 for the carpet but nobody wants to pay the $1000 with a dog then said well I prefer to rent to people without animals before with animals. So I asked about the next apartments and he was like you don’t want that one the person in it before lived in it for 5 years so theirs $6000 for a damage deposit not include other fees to move in. Nope I haven't lived here. I have visited several times over my many, many visits to Martinsville. There seems to be a HUGE problem with pest control...with no fumigation being done. Pro tip to the owner of these....wonderful buildings...."pests" take over the ENTIRE building. The WHOLE thing. They are attracted to the breath we breathe out, and the warmth of our skin. Fix it.
