I’ll never forget the time I took my mom here years ago in my early twenties. There was a coffee station set up in-store and we thought it was for sampling. Turned out it was for guests attending a cooking class (paid attendance) but the older female store associate was so incredibly rude in explaining that to us, that I couldn’t believe her behavior. Though this is a smaller Willliams Sonoma than what I am accustomed to having lived all across the country, it is great. The employees are always very kind and eager to assist if I have any questions or needs. I much prefer seeing things in person rather than shopping online, so having the ability to pop into this location in Wilmington is wonderful.

Williams-Sonoma shopper for many years. Visited the Wilmington, NC store in the Mayfair Shopping Center and purchased several items totaling a little over $300 on September 27, 2025. The lady who helped us was very helpful and polite. Unfortunately, the gentleman who she worked for was less than spectacular in nearly every way. He especially seemed lacking in common courtesy to customers. Perhaps he was at the end of a long shift, but he should do better when interacting with customers.
