very rude sales associate, older women with grey hair. I have always loved william’s and sonoma but she makes me feel like I can’t afford anything in there. I have been now 3 times since they changed locations from the mall to the Annapolis town center and the first 2 times I spent well over $250 and today I wanted some soufflé dishes. I only wanted 1, she proceeded to grab 4. When I said 2 would be fine she says “well that’s an odd recipe” like what? Unacceptable experience with an exchange. We recieved a very expensive silver platter as a gift for a wedding, which we realized was damaged as soon as it was opened. We did not open it right away as we were in the middle of a move. We were told it could not be returned without a receipt. This was a gift so we did not have a receipt, and we were also not returning, simply asking for an exchange for the same item that is undamaged. Normally people here are very attentive but my last shopping experience I was taken aback at the lack of help and, quite frankly, rude behavior. I walked in and there were about 4-5 associates and the GM standing at the entrance (probably having a touch base/changing shifts - this I had no issue with as it needs to be done). The greeting I got was "forced" - I felt they said because they had to, not because they wanted to welcome me into the store. I got a great deal on an air fryer for black Friday from WS. A full week later, I get an email saying that they won't be able to get me that air fryer, but there's another model they're going to automatically send me if I don't respond and here's it's serial number. After some work I found the substitute model, which retails for 60% the cost of what I had bought.
