Bought a Williams Sonoma labeled product, which didn’t work, didn’t even open it till after the 90 day period was over. Store said they won’t even discuss an exchange for something over 90 days old- The website says it has a warrantee for 1 year. Telephone CS says deal with the store. Store said they have ZERO responsibility. The manager was SO RUDE. Most everything in my kitchen I bought from Williams Sonoma for decades, but I will never buy from them again. We bought a Williams Sonoma-branded Bluetooth thermometer before Christmas. It worked once, then failed on its second use at a family gathering. I calmly asked the store for an exchange. The manager, way over-the-top theatrically, told me to “contact the manufacturer,” that they don’t “touch anything” after 90 days, though the product is literally Williams Sonoma-branded. If you need high-end, sometimes hard to find, kitchen items, this is the place.
Joyce at Williams Sonoma was an absolute delight. She assisted us at checkout, was incredibly friendly and personable, and made the entire interaction genuinely enjoyable. Her great energy and knowledge even convinced us to come back to purchase knives. Exceptional customer service AND we’ll definitely be returning.
Outstanding customer service. We purchased a Breville Luxe Thermal coffee maker and worked fine for about a month and a half until it began brewing coffee so weak that it was just colored water. I called Breville for support and it was downright terrible. After watching a 30 min video, a video call with the support rep, and that Breville rep hanging up on me, it was enough.
