I was taking my daily constitutional down Grand River Avenue. Mr. Williams himself, showing up late for work, driving a Ford, not even a Hyundai, cut me off while I was crossing his parking lot. I confronted him, asking him why he wasn't even driving a Japanese vehicle, and he stated that "[he'd] never drive a Jap POS". Very surprising! Thankfully, his subordinates, Jake and Terry came out and apologized on his behalf. They offered me free pens and car manuals to pretend this didn't happen. It was an offer I couldn't refuse!
Waiting 8 weeks to even have my car looked at for repairs is ridiculous. 8 weeks for diagnostics, not even for repairs. They did not even have any courtesy vehicles available in the mean time. Additionally they were rude, understaffed and completely unapologetic about their poor service and long wait times. If I didn't have the misfortune of owning a Hyundai vehicle, I would never take my business to this dealership.
Dwayne was extremely professional and kind, taking the time to pull up the vehicles we were interested in and letting us test drive them. Jarid, the finance manager, was the exact opposite. When it came to the numbers talk, I stated the OTD price I was comfortable with for a vehicle, and Dwayne said he’d check with his manager. We have had an extremely disappointing experience with the Williams Hyundai service department. After our accident, we used the rental covered by our insurance for the first month while waiting for our vehicle to be repaired. Once that coverage ended, the dealership provided us with a loaner vehicle. Shortly after, the service advisor we had been working with left, and from that point on everything went downhill.
