Overpriced I no longer send my violin students to Gengakki, and after some less than satisfactory work on my own violin and bow I no longer take mine to them either. If you need a quick rehair for a student then you will be okay, but if you are a professional the rehair will only last a matter of days. I know of several people who have had difficulties with repairs done by the shop. Their rentals were not but, but they no longer have a rental program. WilliamsGengakki Reggi Williams is the nicest man. Whenever we have an appointment, we are treated like we are the only customer. Every year we send my daughters bow to be re-haired and I get it back in less than a week. The quality of the instruments are tremendous. When we bought my daughter's 1st viola, we were told that when she got older and needed a better instrument, they wold give me the price I paid as a trade in price. He was good to his word.
