I have been a patient of Dr. Doug Williams since the early 1990's. Everything he predicted over time has come to pass regarding my eye health. I recently had cataract surgery on both of my eyes at the Crown Point location. I couldn't be happier! I had a nice visit for my eye exam and everyone was so nice and pleasant!!!!
The doctor is amazing. He did a great job on my cataract surgery. The surgical staff was nice. I'd give the doctor/staff 5 stars. The nurses "do not take calls" was the response when I called with a question. The office staff is rude, snarky, and had me near tears many times. I cannot wait until I'm done with post-op so that I never have to come here again.
Had cataract surgery in 2022. They are swamped with bookings and the appointment was weeks out. When I got there I mentioned that I had a stent put in about a year earlier. About 5 mins before my surgery, they told me that they wouldn't do it without permission from my cardiologist. My cardiologist was surprised at this and has never been asked to permit a simple eye procedure. I was confused as well, as they never asked about medical history prior to me getting there.
