Dr. Young was an amazing doctor for me. His bedside manner was exactly what I needed when I was scared in the ER and he explained everything clearly to me and my husband to comfort us. He gave me the option to consent to a higher-level diagnostic test based on his recommendation and had I not consented, we would not have figured out what was my issue. His light-hearted and warm approach was wonderful so I’d recommend him for anyone going through a time needing emergency medical attention.
Took my 16-year old to the ER with sharp, stabbing pain in her lower left abdomin. After 4 hours of waiting, we finally got in a room. The doctor ordered a urinalysis and an ultrasound of her uterus and ovaries. That's it. No blood work, no abdominal xray, no CT. He gave her 1 toradol to help manage her pain. Because she wasnt vomiting, he didn't take her pain seriously even though we explained that she doesn't vomit.
