Beautiful hotel. Lovely location in front of the courthouse. We will be coming back every time we visit Illinois.

I am only writing this review due to the owner not holding up to his word. Last August my friend stayed here and I woke up to a bat flying around the room. This is an unmanned hotel so there is no one there at night. My friend and I turned on the lights and were unable to find the bat. There were no employees in the hotel so we did have many options so we left the light on and fell back to sleep after searching the room. We woke up to BAT DUNG on our pillow!
