excellent Dr in all aspects, including his staff.
I wasted my time this was my second visit when I told him that my pain is severe around my hip he said I don't do hip surgery which he never mentioned on my first visit. I asked if he would recommend some one his answer was there are plenty Doctors just stood in the corner by the door I hate to see what his bill will be for two minute of non productive visit.
Dr. Van Der Reis showed me amazing care and compassion after my mountain bike accident which left me with a broken clavicle. From his trail-side manner (yes he happened upon me and my friends soon after my fall), to his expert repair of my clavicle and follow-up visits. I highly recommend him to all --especially athletes who desire a surgeon-athlete that understands their special needs to get back on the trail, road, pool, etc!!

He is passionate about his profession and truly cares about the patient !!
Both my wife (Patricia) and I had very challenged issues with shoulder Rotator-cuff and torn Tendons, etc. Dr, Van Der Reis performed surgery and we have both recovered almost 100%. We certainly recommend him highly!!!
