Dr. Segar always takes time to talk to patients, and has staff call to check when a patient is really ill. I have seen Dr. Segar for over 10 years and he has always gone above and beyond.
I have read the other ratings, and was relieved to find that the negative experiences that I've had with this office, particularly the office staff, was not my imagination. The thing that I was wrong about was that I thought the mean-spirited, negatve conduct, was because of racism. From what I've read, they were rude to just about everyone! Doesn't take time for his patience. Always in a rush to prescribe new medicines.
I have never actually seen Dr. Seger, just his staff ad PAs. The patient navigator Rebecca is absolutely WORTHLESS. I have had two specialty gastros and a regular gastro try to get a referral for a surgery and they are refusing to do it. This has been a constant battle since October 2015. Finally got fed up and changed my PCP. Don't waste your time with this office!
