Dr. Brown performed a total hip replacement for me. He did not once see me after the surgery. His assistant was the only one I could see. Post op, she informed me that the restrictions following surgery were lifetime. I could never again care for my own body from the knees down, never sleep on my side, or even work my job as a day care provider. WHY? NO ONE is told that. The surgery went perfectly. Dr Brown listens to what you're saying. He doesn't rush your appointment and answers all your questions being patient with you. Dr Brown makes you feel like you're talking to a family member. I feel lucky that I got Dr Brown as my orthopedic surgeon. I've been told by a lot of people that he's one of the best. I feel safe and comfortable in this surgeon's hands.
Doctor Brown treated my torn rotator cuff in a very straight forward manner, not quick to cut but determined to see the condition improve. His knowledge of the effective therapies to promote the healing process was very reassuring. I thought surgery would have been the quicker route, however the total time for recovery and therapy would have been much longer. Today I feel that not only has the issue healed, but I am also stronger as a result. I am a sixty year who rejects my limits.
