He is efficient and very knowledgeable. Friendly and cheerfull but he dump me on someone else for a procedure that I have never heard of because he is attending a seminar. I feel I am not very important since the procedure has been scheduled for weeks. Hurts my feelings and I doubt he bothers to read this review.

I had a very worrisome problem with both Carotids. One fully blocked and the other suddenly becoming dangerously blocked. I was frightened to say the least. Dr Vasquez reassured me and scheduled me for surgery quickly. He flat told me he would fix me and he did. Great guy-Great Doctor.

I was rushed to Baylor Heart Hospital by helicopter from Sherman, TX with a ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm. Dr. Shutze performed the surgery. The fact that I am writing this 3 months since the surgery is evidence of his surgical knowledge, skill and care. It wasn't until after the surgery that I first met Dr. Shutze. During the remaining 5 days at Baylor, he visited several times always cheerful and encouraging. This was also observed by my family and friends. My life was in his hands.
