Well, my mother received a Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) from this hospital. Mind you, the right side of her heart is the worst. So they placed the pump. She stayed there about 3 to 4 more months after surgery. Then they decide to throw her in a nursing home where they know nothing about LVAD patients. Instead of doctors at UT doing their research as doctors, they were more hung up on my mothers emotional distress, and mental issues. These are doctors, aren't they supposed to research??
