Dr. Oppenheim performed surgery on my mother's foot, which was not necessary. He told her that she would be walking "in two weeks." This never happened. When she went back for follow-up, he told her that her "foot was healed" and never pursued anything further, even though she was still in pain. The pain had gotten progressively worse over time, and subsequently, when she went to see another doctor, he told her that the surgery had not been not necessary.
