I was referred to Dr Merritt for possible surgery after several tests. I just want to say, he is the greatest Dr I ever had. He tells you straight up what needs done, & helped me tremendously with every step of the way. He's there for every question or concern. I put my life in his hands, with full trust & great respect. I found out that I had cancer May 2020, during COVID. I was so upset that during my surgery consultation with Dr. Merritt I was so upset I couldn't talk. Luckily I had my sister with me. On the day of my surgery, I was laying on the operating table and it finally hit me that I was in the middle of a pandemic, having my first surgery and that I wouldn't be able to have any kids and I remember crying so hard. Doctor Merritt is amazing. I lost my mother 10 years ago to uterine cancer. I had abnormal cells in my labs from a biopsy. Doctor Merritt saw me less than two weeks of the report and did a radical hysterectomy two weeks after that. Its day 3 after surgery and I feel amazing. My fear of suffering like my mother was quickly taken away. I am forever thankful to first, God and forever thankful to Doctor Merritt and his staff.
