Not only is he the best surgeon, he is an amazing person. Aside from being a surgeon, he CARES. He is very thorough during your visit and will spend the necessary time to answer any questions, even if it's outside of his expertise. He is very knowledgeable and he quite literally saved my life. His team is phenomenal and I couldn't say enough good things about him and his team!
Dr Childers is amazing. Saw him for a hernia repair. He has great bedside manner. Makes you feel like a patient not a number. Answers all questions and very patient with you. A huge bonus is that his incisions are super straight and clean so heal beautifully furthering my belief he really cares for his patients.
Amazing and kind surgeon! Dr. Childers was the second surgeon I consulted about an abdominal incisional hernia. The first surgeon was very rushed with me, did not take the time to thoroughly answer my questions or address my concerns, and made me feel like some of the things I asked and said were stupid. I had a lot of anxiety about having surgery, after a traumatic prior experience, so I looked elsewhere and am so thankful that I found Dr. Childers! Dr. Childers was my emergency surgeon to remove my appendix. He was awesome! He took his time with me in the hospital and again at my follow up appointment. The surgery went perfectly. He is such a nice and caring doctor and I feel lucky he was on duty when I needed my surgery!
