Two cataract surgeries. Both went perfectly well. Just in time for DMV driver license renewal. For the first time in three decades I've not needed glasses to drive! Dr. Christian's incredible surgery prompted DMV to renew my license without eyeglasses restriction.
Excellent doctor and office. Very grateful to have someone to trust with my eyesight. One time I went because I had something like a hair from my Aussie in my eye and I could not get it out for the life of me. I went again to get a checkup because I was worried my eyesight was getting lost but it turned out to just be dry eyes. He is very honest gentle and precise.
When I made an appointment with Dr. Christian for simple cataract surgery I was very clear and told them I had Medicare and did they take that as full payment. I was told yes and it also says they take it on their website. This is not true, Sure they will take your Medicare and also make you pay 5 thousand dollars for the privilege. I can't speak highly enough about Dr William Christian and his entire staff at the Vanguard Eye Institute. I've had other eye Doctors and Dr Christian is hands down the very best. He is uber knowledgeable, professional and a brilliant surgeon. My Cataract Multifocal lens implants went perfectly. The best decision I finally made. Life-changing. Well worth it. 60 years old.
