I was dealing with suicidal depression caused by untreated postpartem, hostile work environment, and a lack of communication with my spouse. Dr. Volkoff worked with me before the pandemic and during. With his help Iwas able to work through all of my issues. Im at a new place of employment, I love being a parent, and we did some couples counseling so now my spose and I have the tools to communicate effectively and resolve any problems with compassion and understanding. Will ask for more money. Make sure you know what your copay is. Doesnt help much.
I called today to make an appointment for my son! He returned my call! I proceeded to tell him about my son and the problems he was having! Instead of having compassion for him he said he doesn't follow through so makes me think, he will not let show up to appointments? It also cost for no show 75.00! I was speechless! I would never go to him or referr, him to anyone! Just all about money and no compassion at all! Not professional at!
Very very unprofessional if there was a no star rating I would give it to him. Refused to return phone calls, cancelled appointments without my knowledge, never sent documents I requested about my children, said he would see each child for an hour and only seen them 20 to 30 min and billed insurance a full hour. If you are looking for the worst therapist out there look no further William Volkoff at your service!
Very unusual business practices. Dr. Volkoff wanted the money up front for the cognitive behavioral testing to be done for our son. When questioned about why such an unusual request, he immediately said he did not have time to argue with me and that if I didn't want his services then I didn't need to waste his time. He did not have a specific amount that the testing would cost. He did not know how many tests specifically.
