You will meet a very pleasant and capable staff and Dr. If it is not Dr. Vickers, it may be Dr. Wells. Keep in mind that you will get your full eye exam and receive the lenses you may need, but they are not specialist that can treat the series eye conditions, that requires an ophthalmologist. Other than that, I'm confident you will get good service and be well taken care of.
My husband has been going to Dr Vickers since 1986 and never has had a bad experience with the good doctor. William always made him feel comfortable and made sure that everything he needed was available. I have been going to Dr Vickers for a few years. He's always pleasant, does a thorough exam. Never had an unpleasant visit. I know many people that go to him and never heard any complaints. I would recommend him.
If he doesn't like you or has heard something about you he doesn't like. He will literally hold that bright light in your eyes for like 20 minutes. I swear I believe he was tying to damage my eyes. The way his father made my lazy eye worse when I was a kid. Mayne it's to make your vision worse. Idk it was ten Times longer thsn any eye doctor has ever done this. He will also push Jesus on you a whole bunch too.
Not only did my eye glass prescription get messed up (can't wear them without horrible headaches) but it was such a bad experience, I didn't even go back to get it fixed. He spent the entire hour and a half witnessing to me and my 6 year old child. Asking if we knew Jesus was our savior, do we go to church, on and on and on. I did not appreciate being harassed and clearly he was so focused on his "Christian duty" that he wasn't doing his job correctly.
