I brought up my gender dysphoria while in Las Encinas, and I was immediately told that it was probably some sexual deviance or something, offered no support emotionally or otherwise, and I was immediately dismissed with the statement of "we don't deal with that here"... Worse yet, this was at the peak of a mental health crisis. I was discharged the very next day. Dr Gillespie has given me back my son!…as much as that is possible with his mental health condition. It wasn’t easy. Not all the medications worked. But he found the right mix. He treats my son like a human being and that is all most people want for their ill family member. . Adele makes my day brighter…she’s responsive, helpful and friendly! It’s a great place to come, especially if you feel like you have reached the end of your rope….
