Apparently Mc Cormick & Schmick's is a fairly expensive restaurant specializing in seafood, most of the time. My experience has been going there for happy hour. They have a great happy hour (I think it actually lasts for several hours) where you can get a beer for a couple bucks and a good burger or another food item for another couple bucks. A great place to go with friends. Some people complain about the happy hour tap beer (it's Pabst, which I like but is pretty watery and not a highly-regarded beer)
Almost good I don't go to the happy hours, just for dinner. A nice setting, just shy of elegant (which means it's still comfortable) and good service. I doubt many talk about the great food there though, just the nice interior design. While the food is okay, it is not what it should be from a restaurant of this caliber. It is uninspired, like something I'd expect from the C. Factory, so it is not really worth it for me. The secret: happy hour The secret to McCormick & Schmicks is the happy hour menu - you can get a burger and fries for $2 if you order a drink. There are other good deals but the burger is probably the best deal. Not too many veggie options but they do have potato tacos.
Low Quality Food for a High Quality Price Just horrible! I was looking forward to having lobster since I had not had any for a very long time. When my 1/2 lobster arrived it was small and room temperature. The stuffing tasted like tuna salad. It had tiny little shrimp in it that must have been no larger than 1/2 in. long. One of the best Happy Hours in town! With a two drink minimum, you can get anything from a burger to fish tacos for only $1.99! They offer two happy hours a day Monday - Thursday, 3:30 pm-6:30 pm and 9:30 pm-11pm. The food is excellent. The lunch specials are delicious, the fish is tasty, and their salads are wonderfully filling.
McCormick & Schmick's Seafood is average! I have been here before and not very impressed. This time the service was outstanding and the food was average. I like the ambiance very much but I just wish it was not as expensive as it is.
McCormick & Schmick's-good time Great lunch spot. Food is delicious and lots of selections to choose from. Known for great seafood. Great location and reasonable prices. Good bar scene too.
