My treatment started in 2008 and lasted 8 years until I had the braces removes. I'm now 49 years old. When I first went into a consultation with Dr. Domeyer he said my treatment would last 1.5 to 2 years tops. He was unable to get my alignment straight. He was the only ortho I consulted with who decided against the jaw cracking surgery before the braces were put on. Of course, I thought that sounded like the best option, so I went for it. Yay, no surgery involved I thought. Well, here I am with crooked teeth and my top and lower teeth collide when I chew. It's awful. My current dentist told me I may have a case again Dr. Domeyer because I have periodontal disease and braces should not even be put on a patient with unhealthy gums in the first place. I'm traumatized by the entire ordeal.

Excellent and Caring Dr Domeyer has been my orthodontist for many yrs he and his caring staff make the experience stress free with the hands on laid back atmosphere. Have never been disappointed and leave feeling like it was not a visit to a doctors office.
