When I decided to start therapy with Dr. Shepard, I was feeling scarred and worthless. That was why I started, but why I stayed only became clear after we began to difficult, self scrutinizing work. Dr. Shepard should be kindness, attentiveness & guidance, all in a nonjudgmental environment. Under his direction, I realized my own self worth & embarked on a mission of self-discovery. I stayed for about a year & it was the most transformative of my life. No other could have helped me so adeptly.

I have had other therapists through the years. Dr. Shepard has helped me face my life. From Terminal Illness, Family member losses & Relation Ship clarity he has helped me to understand my part. A true life gift to me.

Showed up for 2nd appointment and Dr. Shepard did not even have my files to review and asked me to start all over again. I declined and then he began to blame me for my choice of appointment times. Not professional in any sense of the word.

Business response:

HIPAA privacy laws and TSBEP statutes require that the confidentiality of all patients be maintained, and forbid the acknowledgement of a patient as having been in my care. I am, therefore, prohibited by law from responding to a review here.

We were a poor fit for one another. I was forth coming that I was going to therapy for trust issues; however he expected me to completely confide in him on the first visit.
