I went to see Dr. Ervin for a persistent cough after a bought with pneumonia. Going on for 3 weeks after the initial diagnosis. He listened to my lungs told me they sounded like junk and called AHEAD to X-ray for them to stay late and asked me to head up and return after I also went to the lab to get blood work done. This put us past 5 pm but he was still there when I was done at the lab and THEN proceeded to go over my X-ray inch by inch. I was blown away by his passion and compassion.
Best doctor I ever had. Knew more than many of the specialistI had to deal with in my profession. In my opinion, there isn't a primary care, internal medicine doctor in Portland that even comes close. Keeps it professional while always keeping the patient first and foremost in their mind.
Bill's the guy you want when there's a serious problem. He's smart, experienced and compassionate.
