Excellent
He is extremely egotistical and is more concerned with “saving costs to the healthcare system” (aka his pocket book), than actually treating patients. If you have an HMO or Medicare advantage plan, do not go to him. It has to be life or death before he will approve you to go to any kind of specialist. He is also extremely rude if you EVER question his opinion. He will even criticize other physicians who disagree with his opinion! I’ve been in the healthcare industry for 20 years. Trust me, there are much better physicians!
I was a new patient of Dr. Bonzelet and had not even seen him. One Sunday I became very sick and called him Monday morning to see if I could get an appointment that day and they fit me in to his schedule. Had he not seen me, I would have been hospitalized. The assessment he gave me was thorough, taking the time to examine, observe and listen. He and his staff were extremely caring and attentive! I can't say enough to thank him and his staff!!!
Great dr. They do not leave you sitting in the waiting room for hours on end and dr. Bonzelet will take as much time as you need to explain your issues at hand. His office staff has always been very friendly and efficient. They also work very well with your insurance company.
